Wonderful experience! 🍷 I absolutely loved this tour. What makes it special is that it starts with the family history and the history of the winery, which gives you a real understanding of where everything comes from. Then you get a small introduction to all the different plants they grow, before moving on to the main story - how the grapes are grown, cared for, harvested, and finally transformed into wine. And, of course, the tour ends with the best part: wine tasting! 🍷 But for me, the most wonderful part was having the tour guided by a family member who works at the winery every day. You can truly feel their passion, love, and respect for what they do. It doesn't feel like just another commercial wine tour - it feels personal, authentic, and genuine. You can really see how much the family cares about their land, their traditions, and the wine they produce. Their passion makes the whole experience even more memorable. A beautiful experience from beginning to end, and definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about wine while experiencing the story and soul behind it. Highly recommended! ❤️🍇Posted on Google![]()

The best winery tour I have ever been on!!! 3 hrs including historic and current info and then tasting of all the different types of farm produce. 4 organic wines one white one rose and two reds, organic almonds, 2 farm produced organic jams, organic cheese, organic olives, organic olive oil and two different types of organic cured salami. Amazing value for 30 euros per head in a wonderful location and owned and managed by an extremely friendly and obliging family. A very memorable and unique experience. Would highly recommend if you are anywhere near the area. It's even worth travelling for if you are staying or live further afield. A day to remember and a bonus to come away with so many high quality products to enjoy with friends when we get back home. We visited in February when the weather was quite cold due to the altitude so bring plenty of layers if visiting during the winter months but the weather could never dull such a wonderful experience.Posted on Getyourguide![]()

Great and very extensive tour of the vineyards and the winery. Estefanía told us a lot of information about farming ecologically in the region and how her family does this. The tasting afterwards was great and they even provided gluten free snacks for me. Would definitely recommend this tour of you're looking for an informative and tasty afternoon!Posted on Google![]()

We had a wonderful time at the Cortijo. After a warm welcome we had a tour of the Cortijo with a very clear and detailed explanation of the philosophy behind the techniques used to produce vegetables nuts, olives and grapes.Wandering between the many types of grape wines and tasting them was an experience to remember! Wecwere given the opportunity to buy grapes of our choice straight from the vine. We tasted 5 excellent wines accompanied by olives, nuts and breadsticks. There was no hard sell. The whole session was a very positive experience. We are looking forward to sharing the bottles of wine that we bought and encouraging others to visit the Cortijo el Cura Eco-Bodega.Posted on Google![]()

Lovely family run bodega. Excellent informative tour. The owner Stephanie took her time explaining everything to us from the growing of the grapes to the production and aging of the wine. She is obviously passionate about her work and proud of her family bodega which showed on the tour. We will be back with friends! Muchas Gracias from Ireland x ElainePosted on Google![]()

Really nice and personalized family tour and amazing brunch afterwards! It's really inspiring to see eco wine making in such a dry area, which must be super difficult!Posted on Google![]()

We had a truly wonderful experience at the winery! Estefania took so much time for us and shared her deep knowledge and passion throughout the visit. The way she manages the vineyard organically, with a strong focus on the ecosystem and biodiversity, is truly inspiring. You can really feel how committed she is to sustainable winemaking. The tasting was also fantastic. T he wines were excellent, each with great character and balance. The aperitif was something truly special and a perfect way to finish the experience. Highly recommended, not just for wine lovers, but for anyone interested in learning more about sustainable viticulture and enjoying great hospitality.Posted on Getyourguide![]()

The tour with Estefanía was absolutely fabulous, from the moment we arrived on the beautiful farm to the final moments of tasting and talking with her, we enjoyed every minute. The winery is located in a stunning spot with views of the snowy mountains in the distance, not far from cities like Almería and Granada but feels totally remote and peaceful. Learning about Estefanía's family story that brought them to winemaking and farming was very interesting, and learning about all of the crops they grow (and getting to taste some too!) was a dream. The wine itself was excellent too, and we bought several bottles to take home with us to the US to share with family and friends. We will definitely be back--thank you for everything, HIGHLY recommend! :)Posted on Getyourguide![]()

Great vinyard to visit. At July the 29th My family and I visited Cortijo El Cura, it was a great stay, and something I definetly would recommend. We drove 1,5 hours, but it was the long drive worthy. We participated in a guided tour and afterwards we got our own private winetasting while trying some of the snacks from the yard. The guide was really sweet, and answered all our questions,so it did not feel all formel, but just nice and causual.Posted on Airbnb![]()

Very nice cortijo. We had visit some places around to see how different plants grow. Then we visited small museum you can see how were working at the fields what kind of things they used. As well we've seen collection of pictures with different fountains located in surrounded villages. Then the heart of bodega, the fermentation area and vine aging area. After we had testing of several kind of vines. We were just 2 visitors which simplify a lot of our communication with Justo in SpanishPosted on Tripadvisor![]()
